Training course

Pipeline Flow Assurance

Flow assurance for onshore and subsea pipelines: single-phase and multiphase flow, steady-state and transient analysis, hydrates, wax, corrosion and erosion, pigging and multi-product lines.

Duration
3 days
Outline
15 modules
On completion
Certificate from Z-Subsea Energies

About the course

This comprehensive course gives an overview of pipeline flow assurance through lectures, photo and video presentations, case studies and workshops. It explains the fundamentals of flow assurance design for reliable, safe and economical pipeline systems, from concept and detailed design to operation and maintenance.

The principal code is API RP 14E Recommended Practice for Design and Installation of Offshore Production Platform Piping Systems, which the course uses for erosion calculations. Hydrate and wax formation are modelled in OLGA.
