What does Z-Subsea Energies do?
We are an independent subsea engineering consultancy. We provide subsea systems design, advanced analysis, asset integrity management, flow assurance and process engineering, and materials selection and corrosion control to the oil and gas industry, from concept to the end of an asset’s life and beyond.
Where are you based?
Our office is at The Chandlery Business Centre, 50 Westminster Bridge Road, London SE1 7QY. We support projects worldwide and have worked in the UK North Sea, the Middle East, South East Asia, India, Africa, South America and Australia.
Can you help extend the life of an ageing pipeline or platform?
Yes. We carry out life-extension and remaining-life assessments for operators and independent verification bodies, following NORSOK N-001, ISO 19900/19902, ISO 13822 and API RP 2A-WSD, supported by fitness-for-service and finite element analysis.
Which codes and standards do you work to?
Recognised international codes including DNV, API, ASME, BS 7910, PD 8010, ISO and NORSOK, as well as your own company specifications.
Do you offer training courses?
Yes. We offer 11 technical courses, from subsea and onshore pipeline engineering to ECA, fitness for service, free spans and flow assurance. Courses can be delivered in-house and tailored to your project. See the Training page for details.
What is Spectrum Pipelines?
Spectrum Pipelines is a pipeline design and integrity software suite developed by SK Eng. in association with Z-Subsea Energies. Its 13 modules cover wall thickness, on-bottom stability, free spans and fatigue, lateral and upheaval buckling, corrosion, erosion, cathodic protection and integrity.
