Who we are

This website is operated by Z-Subsea Energies Ltd, The Chandlery Business Centre, 50 Westminster Bridge Road, London SE1 7QY, United Kingdom (“Z-Subsea Energies”, “we”, “us”). The information we collect

• Enquiries and quote requests: your name, email address, phone number, company, the details of your project and any documents you choose to upload.
• Brochure and capability statement requests: your name and email address.
• Training and software enquiries: your contact details and the courses or software modules you are interested in.
• Job applications: your contact details, discipline, message and CV.
• Newsletter sign-ups: your email address.
• Chatbot conversations: the messages you type into our AI assistant and, if you choose to share them, your contact details.
• Technical information: your IP address and the page you were on, which we use to protect our forms from spam and abuse, and, only if you accept analytics cookies, how you use the website.

How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry, prepare proposals and deliver our services, training and software (to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interests).
• To consider your job application (our legitimate interest in recruiting, and steps at your request before entering into a contract).
• To send you our newsletter (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
• To understand how the website is used and improve it (your consent to analytics cookies).
• To keep the website and our forms secure (our legitimate interests).

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf and under our instructions:

• our website hosting provider;
• Resend, which delivers our emails;
• Cloudflare, which protects the website and our forms from spam;
• OpenAI, which generates the AI assistant’s replies when you use the chatbot;
• Google, for Google Analytics (only if you accept analytics cookies) and Google Maps (only if you choose to show the map on our Contact page).

Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and related correspondence for as long as needed to respond and to manage any resulting work, and then delete what we no longer need. Job applications and CVs are deleted after 12 months. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Cookies

We use a session cookie that keeps the website and its forms working securely. Your choices, such as light or dark mode, your cookie preference and whether to show the map, are saved in your own browser. Google Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them. When analytics is in use, you can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Children

Our website is intended for business users and is not aimed at anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
